Here’s a look at March’s upcoming events:

Lucky Scavenger Hunt – All day, all month
- Can you find all the missing items? Complete the scavenger hunt to win a prize.
Art Block Deco – March 9–13, all day
- Recently, the library received new shelves and needs your help to add the finishing touches. Come decorate a wooden block with your own personal touch to add to the new bookshelves.
Read On Challenge – Ongoing through May 31
- Students in grades K–6 who read 10 books of their choice will earn a FREE personal pan pizza from Salvatore’s Pizza House. Pick up a reading tracker at the library, record your books, and return it to receive your voucher. Students may earn up to two pizzas per school year. Completed vouchers must be returned by May 31.
Creativity Tuesdays – Every Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Join us for fun, interactive, and creative activities each week:
  - March 3: Holiday Noise Maker
  - March 10: Rainbow Paper Snake
  - March 17: Paper Moving Fish (in honor of Jean Villepreux-Power)
  - March 31: Guess the Jellybean
Children’s Friday Film – Friday, March 6, 4:00 p.m.
- Enjoy a free movie and popcorn! This month’s feature is Zootopia 2.
Squawking in the Library – Saturday, March 7, 1:00 p.m.
- Theme: Musical Sounds
  - A lively workshop where young minds will learn the joy of musical expression. Experience making music led by Squonk’s bassist, “T-Funk” Tony Thomas.
Parent Self-Help Book Club – Saturday, March 7, 1:00 p.m.
- Caretakers and guardians are invited to a bi-monthly book club meeting hosted by Sarah Morgan. This month’s selection is Having It All: What Data Tells Us About Women’s Lives and Getting the Most Out of Yours by Corinne Low. Pick up a copy at the library today.
Irish Heritage Month Trivia Game – Wednesday, March 11, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Test your knowledge of Irish history by joining the library for a game of Kahoot. The winner receives a prize.
March Madness Bingo – Friday, March 13, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Join us at the library to play basketball bingo for a chance to win prizes.
Mighty Engineers – Monday, March 16, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Theme: Leprechaun Rockets
  - A once-a-month engineering workshop where participants complete a fun building challenge. Suggested for ages 6 and up.
Universal Yummies – Thursday, March 19, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Venture to another country by tasting a variety of snacks from around the world. Available while supplies last.
Teen Talk Thursdays – Thursday, March 19, 4:00 p.m.
- Theme: Tips for High School and College
- Activity: Dreamboards
  - Teens ages 13–18 are invited for one-on-one or group discussions with a librarian about the next steps in their journey. Attend four sessions this school year for a chance to win a prize.
Women’s History Month Activities
- Clay Monopoly Figurines – Thursday, March 5, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  - Create your own mini clay figurines for a Monopoly-style game in honor of Elizabeth Magie, the original creator of the game.
- Cookie Taste Testing – Friday, March 20, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  - Sample a variety of cookies in honor of Ruth Wakefield, the inventor of the chocolate chip cookie. Can you guess the brand and flavor?
Special Movie Premiere: “Wicked: For Good” – Saturday, March 21, 1:00 p.m.
- Sing along and complete fun activities while enjoying Wicked: For Good on the big screen — with popcorn!
Squawking in the Library – Saturday, March 28, 1:00 p.m.
- Theme: Rube Goldberg Machine
  - Learn how to harness the flow of energy using everyday objects to create quirky chain-reaction machines. Join Squonkers Lex Vogelsberg and Mia Taylor for an exciting workshop where science meets art.
