- Celebrate a day of S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. with a variety of stations and activities to try out. Complete all five to win a prize!
- Queen’s Gambit – Wednesday, November 12, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Interested in learning how to play chess or need a partner? Join us at the library for an hour-long session!
- Children’s Friday Film – Friday, November 14, 4:00 p.m.
- Enjoy a free movie and popcorn! This month’s feature is Smurfs.
- Parent Self-Help Book Club – Saturday, November 15, 1:00 p.m.
- Welcome to all caretakers and guardians! Join the library for a bi-monthly book club meeting hosted by Sarah Morgan. This month’s book is Raising Good Humans Every Day by Hunter Clarke-Fields.
- American Recycle Day – Saturday, November 15, All Day
- Help the environment by creating your own art piece using recycled materials.
- Teen Talk Thursdays – Thursday, November 13, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Teens ages 13–18 are invited to join a one-on-one or group session with a librarian to discuss the next steps in their journey. November’s topic is “Let’s Talk Emotions and Friendships,” featuring an activity where you’ll create your own journal. Complete four sessions this school year for a chance to win a prize!
- Native American Heritage Month Kahoot – Wednesday, November 19, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Learn and celebrate Native American Heritage Month through a fun game of Kahoot. Winner gets a prize!
- Universal Yummies – Thursday, November 20, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Let’s venture to another country by tasting a variety of snacks from around the world!
- Trivia Challenge: Thanksgiving – Monday, November 24, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Can you beat the Thanksgiving Trivia Challenge? Bring your friends and family to test your knowledge and win a prize!
- Fall Scavenger Hunt – All Day, All Month
- Can you find all the missing items around the library? Complete the scavenger hunt for a chance to win a prize!
- Math Homework Help – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Need help with math? Stop by after school for free assistance for any grade level.
- Pizza Reading Challenge – Ongoing through the last day of school
- Students in grades K–6 who read 10 books of their choosing will earn a free personal pan pizza from Salvatore’s Pizza House! Pick up a tracker at the library, record your books, and return it to receive your voucher. Win up to two pizzas per school year!
